Remediation Planning, Long-Term Operation, and Maintenance at Closed Municipal Landfill

Sand County Environmental was retained by a landfill remediation group to perform groundwater and surface water sampling, in support of litigation concerning the landfill, and to propose and construct appropriate remediation systems.

Sand County Environmental continues to perform groundwater monitoring of the 40+ monitoring well networks and surface water sampling in nearby creeks.  Maintenance of a phytoremediation plantation, consisting of 5,000 poplar and willow trees, is also ongoing at this landfill.
